Honey and Allergens

Honey is a wholesome product created by honey bees from the nectar of flower blossoms. It contains very little protein; the major components of honey are simple sugars. Proteins are associated with most food allergies and are found in peanuts, soybeans, milk, eggs, fish crustacea, tree nuts and wheat.

Dutch Gold packages only honey and does not process, store, or handle any allergens. Allergic reactions stemming from the consumption of Dutch Gold Honey are highly uncommon.
